Get ready for a new school year!

IN LATE JULY: Families of new and returning students will receive information via email to complete 2026-2027 back-to-school forms and pay any available fees for their students, including the optional Technology Protection Plan. Families will need to complete the forms and pay any available fees prior to the first day of the school year.

Back-to-School Forms

Back-to-school forms for the 2026-2027 school year for all returning students (preK and grades 1-12) will be available in late July in the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Parents/guardians for all returning students (preK and grades 1-12) will need to access and complete the forms in the PowerSchool Parent Portal to verify and update important student information before the first day of the school year on August 12, 2026.

These forms involve:

Parent/guardian contact information
Emergency medical information and contacts
Medical history
Student permissions
All technology forms associated with students’ school-issued devices, including the Acceptable Use Policy and the optional Technology Protection Plan.

Those wishing to purchase the optional Technology Protection Plan must complete the technology forms in PowerSchool AND pay the $25 fee in PaySchools Central before the first day of school for the 2026-2027 school year (August 12, 2026). If the $25 fee is not paid by the first day of school, the plan is void.

How to Complete the Forms

Please follow the following steps to complete the forms when they are available in late July.

Log in to your PowerSchool parent account. If you need help with your log-in information, or you have not set up a PowerSchool parent account, please contact backtoschool@uaschools.org.
Once you are logged in to your PowerSchool parent account, select the “Forms” link in the left navigation column.
Individually select and verify or complete ALL of the required forms under the General Forms tab. Be sure to click the Submit button at the bottom of each form to save your work.
If you have multiple students associated with your PowerSchool parent account, please click on each student in the tabs at the top of the webpage and verify or complete ALL of the required forms for each of your students.

Student Fees

Families of new and returning students (K-12) can log in to PaySchools Central beginning in late July to pay any fees associated with their students and put funds on their lunch accounts.

The student fee schedule approved by the Board of Education reflects the elimination of all student class and course fees for the 2026-2027 school year.

The annual fees for the 2026-2027 school year will include:

The optional Technology Protection Plan fee ($25) for students in grades K-12
Athletic fees at the middle school ($75 per sport) and high school ($100 per sport)
Student parking fees at the high school ($90 for Tier A and $50 for Tier B)

Families wishing to purchase the optional Technology Protection Plan must complete the technology forms in PowerSchool AND pay the $25 fee in PaySchools Central before the first day of school for the 2026-2027 school year (August 12, 2026). If the $25 fee is not paid by the first day of school, the plan is void.

Fall athletic fees and UAHS parking fees will be available after those assignments are completed by the schools.

Outstanding fees from prior years are required to be paid.

If paying these school fees will cause a hardship for your family, please contact your child’s principal or school counselor.

How to Access PaySchools Central

To prepare for the new school year, families and staff can visit PaySchoolsCentral.com or download the PaySchools Central app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Register for an Account

Select Register and enter your profile details. Open the confirmation email from PaySchools Central and click the link to confirm your account and create a password. The link will be valid for 30 minutes. If it is not activated within that 30 minutes, please return to the PaySchools Central homepage and click "Forgot My Password" to request a new email.

Add Students or Staff

Before you can add your student(s) or any related staff members, you will need to answer three security questions to secure your account. Then, you will input the following information to add a student / staff member to your account:

State
School district
Student or Staff ID (lunch number) — please note that the six-digit student ID number is available in the PowerSchool Parent Portal
First and last name
Relationship to the student / staff member

Finally, you will be prompted to set up a payment method, if you wish to do so, and set up notifications from PaySchools Central.

PaySchools Central

iPad Distribution

Each new-to-the-district student in grades K-12 will receive a school-issued iPad as the school year begins.

Elementary students (K-5) will receive their school-issued devices in their classrooms.
Secondary students (grades 6-12) may pick up their devices on their first day of school in their school media center (middle school) or the help desk (high school).

Please note that families wishing to purchase the optional Technology Protection Plan must complete the technology forms in PowerSchool AND pay the $25 fee in PaySchools Central before the first day of school for the 2026-2027 school year (August 12, 2026). If the $25 fee is not paid by the first day of school, the plan is void. The Technology Protection Plan fee will be available for payment beginning in late July.

School Supplies

Wickliffe will continue its bulk school supply program for the 2026-2027 school year. This equitable model has successfully supported students and families for several years.

The cost is a flat rate of $50 per student, which covers nearly all school supplies needed for a successful start to the school year, including both shared and individual classroom materials. Families will only need to provide two items: a backpack and headphones.

All other supplies — including notebooks, crayons, folders, markers and more — will be purchased in bulk and delivered directly to classrooms before the first day of school, ensuring every student arrives fully prepared.

Payment can be made through the Wickliffe PTO website beginning in early August.

Bus Route Information

The district offers transportation services to elementary and middle school students who live 1.25 miles or greater from their home school. Transportation is not provided for high school students. Transportation also may be provided to students with special education transportation needs.

Each year, families complete a request for transportation for their student(s) - either at the time of registration for a new student or in May or June through the Transportation Request Form in PowerSchool for a returning student entering grades 1-8. Families will receive an email in late July, prior to the start of the school year, with information to access their student's bus route assignment.

Middle School and High School Athletics Registration

Families of student-athletes entering grades 7-12 complete the registration process for high school and middle school athletics via FinalForms for the sport(s) they want to participate in during the 2026-2027 school year. This allows our coaching staff to get an idea of interest well before the first day of tryouts.
