Facilities Master Planning at Wickliffe Progressive Elementary School
A new Wickliffe Progressive Elementary School opened for the 2020-2021 school year. Part of the first phase of the community-developed master plan for Upper Arlington’s schools, every elementary school in our district is either completely new or fully renovated and includes needed space for the district’s growing enrollment.
The completed Wickliffe project features:
-
Nearly 74,000 square feet of completely new learning space, with a centralized two-story learning center at the heart of it all
-
Six learning neighborhoods featuring 24 flexible classrooms in all, small group learning spaces and commons areas for larger group learning
-
A new, large dining area and gymnasium
-
All new building systems — mechanical, electrical and plumbing
-
Safety enhancements including a new, secure entrance and main office
These new and modern learning spaces are supporting our students as they develop the skills necessary to serve, lead and succeed now and in their futures.
