The communications department strives to ensure parents and community members have easy access to current and relevant information regarding the school district. The department is responsible for maintaining the district website, social media outlets and the automated calling end email system. The department assists reporters from both local and national news media outlets as they cover the achievements of our students and staff members.
Our communications professionals are members of the Ohio School Public Relations Association and have been recognized by OHSPRA for their work. They received a 2017 Best of the Best award for the Your Voice Matters communications plan on the district's facilities master planning process and a 2017 Mark of Excellence award for the Upper Arlington Schools Facebook page. The department has previously received a Best of the Best award for the district Facebook page, a Mark of Excellence award for the UAiNSIGHT community newsletter and a Mark of Distinction award in video.
